Thursday January 9th Retired NFL Wide Receiver and two time Super Bowl Champion Torrey Smith visited PVMS to talk with some student athletes. They learned so much from Mr. Smith and gained priceless insight on various topics such as: work ethic, success within the classroom, and positive decision making. The school community was thrilled to have an athlete come and talk with students face to face. The reality of this gesture will be felt for years by the students who were in attendance. A special thanks also needs to be sent to Anisha Thompson for organizing this event, Ms. Thompson is the incredible Black Student Achievement Liaison for PVMS, and an intricate part of the school.
