Patuxent Valley Middle School
The purpose of the event is to provide opportunities for students from the African Diaspora to celebrate the cultural richness and artistic expressions of African, Caribbean and African American communities. This event will highlight the historical and contemporary contributions of these communities through mediums of dance, spoken word, hip-hop, etc., which are deeply rooted in their traditions.
PVMS families are invited to join us for our annual Family Night focusing on Middle School Success. We will be serving a pizza dinner 5:30-6:00 PM, followed by information sessions for parents/guardians. Community partners will be available to provide additional resources.
Please note, all students must be accompanied by an adult. This is a great way to connect with the school and the greater PVMS community.

1/14 - Elective Registration Information Session for Rising Grade 7 and Grade 8 Families
Elective registration will open on 1/30/2025 for rising 7th and 8th grade families. To help you and your student prepare for next school year, we are offering an information session on 1/14/2025 at 6:00pm. To accommodate families, the session format will be In-person and Virtual. On January 22 Patuxent Valley Middle School will be hosting our Rising 6th Grade Family Orientation from 6pm to 7:30pm in the school cafeteria.
